Laura Mayrhofer works at Mayo Clinic as a (yoga teaching) physical therapist. In addition, she is starting up her own side hustle to promote healthy movements and create a safe space for discussing taboo topics. We worked on getting great photos for her new site and also for her Instagram page (@laurameihofer)- definitely check her out! Everything we did was at her own house, giving us PLENTY of time to experiment and to get lots of shots!
Best Buddies
The first Best Buddies Gala in Minnesota as a complete success! Although, it was extremely last minute, I had an a wonderful time volunteering to take pictures. Held at the Aria, the venue was absolutely amazing! Looking forward to see where Best Buddies goes in the years to come, here in Minnesota.
Heritage 5K
Back in September, Mayo Clinic had their annual Heritage Classic 5k. I received the amazing opportunity to photograph the event and am so very grateful. In fact, this was the first “event” that I’ve ever photographed! It was a little weird taking pictures of people without them knowing I was or without knowing them… but it was defiantly an experience that I’m sure will help me grow as a photographer. I didn’t have the time to edit the photographs but I guess they turned out decent anyways so here they are! ALSO, all the proceeds go towards The Mayo Clinic Hope Fund is sponsored by the Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center and Mayo Clinic Heritage Day.

What a goddess. An absolute goddess!
I was so scared that this shoot wouldn't work out because are the harsh evening light. But if you take a look, you will be able to see, that it was just perfect. Absolutely perfect. I am truly in love with these shots and I am so glad how everything worked out on this shoot. I'm telling you, this girl is going places!

I loved shooting with Alyssa! It was my first time working with a model and let me just say, she was AMAZING! We did a shoot at Betty Danger's Country Club in Minneapolis. The colors, the vibes, everything was so fun to work with!
