Quick & Easy Restaurant Style Salsa

December 19, 2020 in Dip, Mexican

Description

This salsa is absolutely addictive! I love making it for parties because it makes a large quantity with relatively inexpensive ingredients. Everyone who tries it is always amazed that it’s homemade - definitely a show-stopper!

Ingredients

  • 1 LARGE jar diced tomatoes (or 8-10 fresh Roma)

  • 1 normal-sized jar of diced tomatoes and green chilies

  • 5 garlic gloves

  • 1/2 large onion or 1 small onion (preferably red)

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 2 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar

  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (for heat & smoke)

  • As much Cilantro as you can handle

Directions

Blend or pulse your ingredients in a food processor or blender until you reach your desired consistency!  Is best if you let it marinate overnight but can be enjoyed right away. Stores in the fridge up to 2 weeks
